Public Service Commission (PSC) Master’s Scholarship 2019, Singapore

The PSC has a critical role in the Public Service, selecting and developing scholarship holders, appointing senior management, and maintaining discipline. The PSC Master’s Scholarship is for undergraduates at any year of study who are keen to pursue a Master’s degree upon graduation or recent graduates with no more than 3 years of working experience in the private/non-government sector. Public officers can contact their respective agencies on opportunities for post-graduate sponsorship.

The scholarship is tenable for up to 2 years of study at both overseas and local universities. The scholarship is not offered for MBA programmes, and the course of study should be in an area relevant to the work of the Civil Service, as approved by the PSC.

Career Progression:
Upon graduation, scholarship holders will be emplaced on the Public Service Leadership Programme and developed for generalist or sectoral leadership positions within the Public Service. Scholarship holders will embark on their Public Service career at an appropriate ministry or statutory board depending on the Public Service’s manpower needs and their suitability for the position.
