The Ann D Clark Scholarship was developed in honour of Ann D Clark.
Ann had a distinguished career in all levels of Catholic Education and
experience as a secondary school teacher and administrator in Australia
and New Zealand. Ann held the position of Executive Director of Schools
in the Diocese of Parramatta and was a foundation member of the Western
Sydney University's Board of Governors.
'Excellence' was a word
which came naturally to Ann and she was resolute in encouraging everyone
to 'soar with their strengths'. To those she touched, and to those
within her extensive sphere, she made a difference. Ann also understood
that education does not just begin and end in school and from her
position in Parramatta she was able to influence education across the
country for the betterment of all involved.
