Arabic Summer School 2019 in Rabat, Morocco (Self Funded)

Applications are now invited for the Arabic Summer School 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. This summer programs will be held at different schools including the prestigious Mohammed 5 university, UIR, and their centers.

The program is crafted to develop student proficiency and communication in Arabic, and further delve into Art, politics, or Islamic studies. The integrative training is a gateway to the rich components of the Arab culture, within the framework of intercultural dialogue and communication.

Housing:
Homestay is the key to full cultural immersion. You will live with a Moroccan family, share meals with them, and build up life-long lasting relationships. You will get the chance to discover the Moroccan culture through their lenses, attend traditional parties, socialize with friends, and explore a unique blend of identities. You can also choose to live in your own apartment.

Trips:
The trips are a unique opportunity to discover Morocco’s eclectic mix of different cultures. Excursions will be organized to the most attractive sites in Morocco.
Tetouane-Chefchaouen, the famous blue city. It is the chief town of the province of the same name and is noted for its buildings in shades of blue.
Rabat-Marrakech-Essouira, the “Red City”, is a magical place brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques. Exploring the intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways of the historic Medina can easily eat up a day. Activities:
To accomplish their vision of fully immersing their students, extracurricular activities will include hanna celebrations, debates, cooking workshops, calligraphy classes, networking opportunities with Fulbright students, shopping days, and visits to art exhibitions.

Our students are global leaders. You will contribute to the development of international communities and inspire people. You will have the chance to work closely or visit NGOs, local communities, and schools
