[Bachelor Student] Incoming Study Abroad International Travel Grant at University of Southern Queensland, Australia


The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) will offer grants to new International students commencing in the Study Abroad program, in Semester 1 2020 or Semester 2 2020.

Only students enrolling into the Study Abroad program at USQ will be eligible.

Studying overseas is a great way to make new friends, travel the world and go on an adventure whilst receiving credit towards your degree. Not only will you grow as a person, but you will also increase your career prospects as employers value evidence of independence, adaptability and willingness to take on a challenge. 

Study Abroad students can enrol directly through USQ or through a Study Abroad Partner. Study Abroad students may receive credit towards their home university degree. They will take a leave of absence from their home university and pay tuition fees directly to USQ. 



Benefit:
  • Each grant will have a maximum value of AUD2000
  • Successful recipients of the Grant will be notified in their initial USQ Study Abroad program Offer Letter.
  • The grant will be credited directly to the recipient's USQ student account as a reduction to their tuition fees.
  • *Students are responsible for paying the remainder of the fees as per the Offer Letter

Requirement:Applicants must
  • be an International student
  • not be a sponsored student
  • be a commencing student in the Study Abroad program (fee paying) at USQ in Semester 1 2020 OR Semester 2 2020
  • be studying on-campus
  • be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in the semester the Grant is awarded
  • be studying the Study Abroad (fee paying) program at USQ (not be studying Cross-institutional or Professional Development courses)
