[Bachelor Degree] International Student Support Scholarship 2020 at University of Southern Queensland, Australia

In Semester 3 2020, Semester 1 and Semester 2 2021 the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) will offer scholarships to new international students intending to study on-campus after Australian Government travel restrictions are lifted. Students who wish to commence their studies in the online mode prior to attending campus will need to apply for the on-campus offering and be accepted through the USQ admissions processes.

This scholarship is based on meeting the entry requirements for the program of study and successfully passing all courses within the program.

International students in all areas of award programs (except for Bachelor of Nursing), undergraduate and postgraduate are welcome to apply. Bachelor of Nursing students should apply for the 2021 International Student Support Nursing Scholarship.

Benefit:
  • Each scholarship will have a maximum value of 25% of the tuition fees for the duration of the approved study program and will be applied as a 25% reduction of the tuition fees.
(Students are responsible for paying the remainder of the fees as per the offer letter).
  • Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the recipient receiving a passing grade for completed courses.

Additional Accommodation/Food Package
In Semester 1 and Semester 2 2021, in addition, this scholarship will include the cost of accommodation on the USQ Toowoomba Residential Colleges for the first semester of on-campus study. If the Australian government imposes a self-isolation period for incoming travellers during 2021, this scholarship will also include an accommodation food package for the duration of that self-isolation period.

The additional Accommodation Package component will be offered on a "first come first served" basis until available places are filled at the USQ Residential Colleges in Toowoomba. To receive this additional package you will need to meet and abide by the Conditions of Residency. USQ Residential Colleges only have private, single occupancy rooms, and currently do not offer rooms for couples or families.

The additional package will be applied to the student's residential fees over the semester where the student is studying a full-time load and meets the requirements of this scholarship.
