JESC AISBL European Leadership Programme 2019

The European Leadership Programme (ELP) is designed to attract young and enthusiastic future leaders, willing to develop their leadership skills and expand their knowledge on European Union in the international policy and advocacy areas. In the heart of Europe, through theoretical and practical methodology, they develop skills while living together for six months. The activities of the ELP consist of five interrelated segments: Politics, Learning, Immersion, Coaching and Community.

Fellows are immersed in the administrative and political life of the EU institutions. As a complement to their training, they attend modules and workshops by high profile academics and practitioners in order to develop their leadership skills and stimulate reflection and discussion of topics on the European agenda, such as migration and refugees, security and defence, environment and climate change and other burning issues. They serve a marginalized community. The programme awards the fellows 10 ECTS points. It includes speakers like Herman Van Rompuy, Philippe Lamberts and many more.

The ELP program is designed as a training programme on EQF-level 7, continuing from Bachelor programmes on level 6. ELP is interdisciplinary programme, as contributions from fields of political science, European studies, economics, law and other social sciences and humanities are part of the programme.
