International Youth Leader Volunteering (IYLV) 2019 (For Indonesia) Chapter Malaysia, Malaysia (Fully Funded)

The International Youth Leader Volunteering of the Malaysian Chapter as a voluntary program initiated by the younger generation is here to help the TKI children to gain access to education. Through the activities of fun learning, teaching, increasing various skills, and entrepreneurship, it is expected to be able to provide valuable experiences for Indonesian migrant workers' children and volunteers involved.

This activity the participants or volunteers will learn how to improve the soft skills and life skills they have by being actively involved in providing knowledge equivalent to basic education to TKI children in accordance with the applicable education curriculum in Indonesia. Not only that, every volunteer must instill the values of nationalism and patriotism through fun learning activities.

The volunteers will be invited to share in scholarship activities, learning support media, and school kits. Each volunteer is also required to raise donations in the form of reading books to be donated to the school library there.

Meeting and being involved in directly giving lessons to Indonesian migrant workers' children in a region is certainly a new challenge for volunteers later. They will be faced with situations and conditions that are different from their environment so far. In this case the participants are expected to be able to exchange information about culture to Indonesian migrant workers' children so that the children have new knowledge and perspectives.
