UK Summer Boarding Course School Scholarship 2019 Programme in Oxford College, UK

UK Summer School Scholarships are now open! If you are a student aged 11-17 years old and want to study English and academic subjects in the most prestigious schools and Universities in the UK, our Summer courses are for you.
At Summer Boarding Courses, we believe all cultures around the world should be united through education.
As it’s our tenth birthday, we have 10 scholarships for students waiting to be awarded. If you would not otherwise have access to an International Summer School experience without our scholarship opportunities, we want to hear from you!

Our scholarships have been established in memory of two special babies. The Louis Albrecht Memorial Scholarship is available for male students and The Connie Townsend Memorial Scholarship is available for female students.

Benefit:
A 2-week course including English tuition, accommodation, 3 meals a day, excursions and the social programme.
Please note: Travel costs are not included, and travel arrangements must be made independently.

Requirement:
We welcome international students aged between 11-17 years to apply for the Scholarship Programme.

How to Apply:
  • Stage 1: Complete an online application form explaining why you would benefit from participating on a course at SBC. We are particularly interested to learn about your current studies and how attending an SBC summer course will be used in your future studies or professional aspirations.
You will also need to submit an accompanying statement from your teacher in support of your application. This statement is a recommendation letter to vouch for your skills and achievements. We require the teacher to sign and date this statement, and that he/she also provide contact details. Please email this to: Fay.Powell@summerboardingcourses.co.uk
  • Stage 2: Once the scholarship committee has considered all entries, successful Stage 1 applicants will be informed by the 25th February 2019. Successful applicants will then be asked to submit a creative short video about their family, friends and hometown. We will also like to hear about the applicants’ hopes and dreams for further education and their future career.

Deadline:
15 February 2019
