Call for Mentors: SEALNet Project Brunei 2019 Youth.RISE: Resilient. Innovative. Skillful. Employable, Brunei Darussalam (Partial Funded)

“Brunei, to the global eyes, is known for its abundant wealth and welfare, and there is a misconception that Brunei is free from poverty or social issues. Even many Bruneian youths themselves are deceived by this fact, as they continue to be complacent in the development of the country, and even in self development. As a result of generations and generations of complacent youths, without realising, Brunei had suddenly enter into a critical time where youth unemployment is reaching its all time high. Realising this, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s on his 69th Birthday Celebration this year (UBD, 2016) : “It is clear, what is crucial here is, Brunei must immediately make a 1 shift in mindset: from preferring to wait and sit idly to working hard; from being reliant to showing more initiative, and from being less independent to being more independent. This is our source of strength. ” and PB19 plans to respond to this call.
