[Master Degree] Think Big Foundation International Program Post-Graduate Scholarships at University of Bristol, UK

Think Big International Foundation Programme Scholarship for the year 2020 is now available.

The Scholarship:
  • All scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition fee discount and are non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.
  • If the amount of scholarship awarded is more than the cost of the tuition fees, the tuition fees will be covered in full and any remainder will not be issued
  • Undergraduate scholarships (unless otherwise stated) will be awarded for all years of undergraduate study taking place at the University of Bristol, subject to satisfactory attainment throughout the programme.
  • If you receive an International Foundation Programme scholarship, this will be valid only for your Foundation year, and will not automatically continue into Undergraduate study. You are however welcome to apply for Undergraduate scholarships in the following year.
  • Scholars who defer their studies cannot defer their scholarship.
  • Scholars agree to act as a good ambassador for the University of Bristol and at times will be asked to participate in events or promotional activities. Any involvement in these activities will take up no more than 5 hours per term.
Important

Unless otherwise stated, scholarships on offer will take the form of a tuition fee discount. Due to strict UKVI regulations, students MUST be able to show they have sufficient funds to cover any remainder of tuition fees as well as adequate living expenses in order to successfully obtain a visa to enter the UK.

1.Think Big Postgraduate Scholarships


Qualifying Programmes
Any one-year, full-time taught postgraduate programme.

Benefit:
  • A number of awards valued at £5,000, £10,000 and £20,000 are available to Postgraduate students for September 2020 entry. 
  • The awards can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees

Requirement:
You can apply for a Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship if you:
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • have applied to start a one-year, full-time taught postgraduate programme at the University of Bristol in September 2020.
How to Apply:
Deadline:
There are two applications rounds for this scholarship:
  • Round One Deadline: 11:59pm (GMT) Sunday 29 March 2020. Successful applicants will be informed via email by 24 April 2020.
  • Round Two Deadline: 11:59pm (GMT) Sunday 14 June 2020. Successful applicants will be informed via email by 10 July 2020.
Please Note: You will automatically be considered for rounds 1 and 2, so there is no need to submit your application again if you are not made an offer in round 1.

2. Think Big about Arts Scholarships

Qualifying Programmes Any one-year, full-time Masters programmes (MA, MSc and MPhil) within the Faculty of Arts. For Postgraduate Taught programmes check here and for MPhil programmes check here.

Benefit:
  • Four scholarships worth £5,000 each.
  • The awards can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees. 
Requirement:
You can apply for a University of Bristol Think Big about Arts Scholarship if you:
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • have applied to start one of the qualifying Faculty of Arts (MA or MPhil) programmes at the University of Bristol in September 2020.

3. Think Big about Global Justice Scholarship - Post-Graduate

The University of Bristol Law School is offering two scholarships worth £5000 each to eligible full-time postgraduate students studying for a LLM qualification.

Benefit: 
Two one year, full-time, LLM scholarships of £5000 each. The awards can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.

Requirement:
You can apply for a University of Bristol Think Big about Global Justice Postgraduate Scholarship if you:
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • have applied to start a full-time postgraduate qualification in Law (LLM) at the University of Bristol in September 2020

Thank you for your interest in the Global Justice Scholarship. The application period for Round 1 is now open and will close on 29 March 2020 and Round 2 will close on 14 June 2020.
