[Bachelor Degree] Teladan Scholarship 2022 - Development of Indonesian Leadership (Tanoto Fondation), Indonesia (Fully Funded)

TELADAN, which means role model in Indonesian, is a scholarship and training program designed to equip the next generation of Indonesia’s leaders with the skills they need to make a meaningful contribution to the places in which they live and work. Participants are eligible for scholarships which cover the full cost of tuition and a monthly allowance, and also received structured leadership training and mentoring.
TELADAN aims to produce responsible leaders who are able to face tomorrow’s challenges by offering trainings in soft skills, internships and apprenticeships, community development programs, as well as activities which develop collaboration and networking skills. The program also helps address Indonesia’s still-low university gross enrollment rate, which in 2017 stood at 33.37%.

Financial Benefits:

Full tuition fees until semester VIII.
Monthly allowance.

Support for Leadership Development
This program provides a structured leadership development program, including career development support. With a longer interaction time, this program provides an opportunity for Tanoto Scholar to acquire more knowledge and skills through the following programs:

Basic Program to practice the basic values of Tanoto Scholars, basic managerial skills, personal development of participants and designing forms of contribution to society.
Advanced Program to further develop managerial skills, presentation and communication skills, apprenticeship programs and contribution to society.
Career Preparation Program to increase the capacity of individual participants in facing the world of work, including short study opportunities at Tanoto Foundation partner universities abroad.
Graduation event
Career and leadership support for alumni.

Each of these stages covers the areas of leadership development, personality development, career development and making social contributions. Participants of this program are required to take part in all leadership development programs that will be implemented by the Tanoto Foundation.

Requirement:

Indonesian citizen (WNI).
Registered as a first semester student at one of the partner universities.
Have good academic achievement at the high school level and equivalent with the grade 12 average report card (semester 1 & 2) is 8.00 (scale 10).
Demonstrate strong leadership potential and commitment to contribute to society and the development of the nation.

Selection process

Document selection
Tanoto Goundation checks administrative documents and documents.
Psychological tests
Applicants who pass the first stage selection will take a psychological test including intelligence assessment, the ability to provide solutions, resolve conflicts, make decisions, and leadership potential.
Interview
Tanoto Foundation direct interaction with Exemplary program applicants to get to know their characters further.
