[Doctor] The Republic of Korea Scholarships for Indonesian (RISETDIKTI) 2019 (Fully Funded)

In 2019, the Government of the Republic of Korea offers two scholarship programs for Indonesian Government employees and researchers from universities or government institutions. The scholarships for government employees are in the form of London Protocol Engineering Master of Project Administration (LPEM) education. Meanwhile, researchers from universities and government institutions hold doctoral degrees to take part in the International Scholar Exchange Fellowship 2019-2020 (ISEF).

1 London Protocol Engineering Master of Project Administration (LPEM) (CLOSED)
LPEM was created thanks to the collaboration between the Korea Institute of Ocean Science (KIOST) and the University of Science and Technology (UST). This ongoing cooperation is in the field of coastal public projects related to coastal engineering and ocean environment. The selected scholarship program participants will stay at KIOST, Busan starting in September 2019 until June 2021.

Benefit:
During the scholarship program, you will be given benefits in the form of living expenses, tuition fees, living expenses, dormitories and Return tickets to Busan (1 Return ticket each year). 

Requirements:
Requirements that must be completed include: 
  • Work certificate explaining that participants work as government employees who handle coastal projects.
  • Certificate and transcript of S1
  • English language proficiency certificate 
  • Study proposal 
  • Letter of recommendation (minimum 1, maximum 3. (Format of study proposal and letter of recommendation can be found on the UST website)

2.  International Scholar Exchange Fellowship 2019-2020 (ISEF)
Since 2000, the ISEF program has successfully invited researchers from various Asian countries to the Republic of Korea. The purpose of the invitation of these researchers was to conduct research collaboration with universities in the Republic of Korea for 1 year or 6 months with funding from the Chey Institute.

Benefits:

  • Research allowance (3,000,000 won / month)
  • Initial settlement support (1,000,000 won)
  • Research paper grant (1,000,000 won given after submitting the final research paper at the end of the program)
  • Publication incentives ($ 2,000- $ 5,000 for articles published in journals registered at SSCI, AHCI, SCI and for $ 1,000 for articles published in journals registered at the National Research Foundation of Korea)
  • Vice versa flight ticket
  • Health Insurance

Requirements: 
  •  Must be a researcher from a university or institution that has a doctorate
  • A maximum of 50 years old at the registration deadline
  • Do not have health problems
  • Research must be conducted in English
  • Prospective participants must register through the website www.kfas.or.kr by completing all the information needed and uploading a number of documents including: 2 letters of recommendation, 2 examples of research that have been carried out by attaching abstracts in English,
  • Work certificate (made in the last 2 months), Photocopy of Ph.D diploma, Letter from research Affiliation.
