Belt and Road International Youth Summer School 2019 in Sichuan, China (Funded)

Youth Time International Movement is officially opening the application call for Participants for the International Youth Summer School. It will take place in capital of southwestern China's Sichuan province, Chengdu from July 7th -12th this year. Don’t miss the opportunity to spend an exciting week in the center city of Western China, understand youth role in international global markets, and gain invaluable new skills, knowledge and experiences that will serve as a solid foundation for your future international entrepreneurial & professional endeavors along the new silk road.

The topic of the annual event is Bridge Capital and Technology: Corporations along the Silk Road, Innovation in Entrepreneurship. This summer school is co-hosted with China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and has been successfully organized for 3 years. It will gather together nearly 80 participants, experts and trainers from all over the world with the aim of discussing ideas and solutions to some of the most prevalent youth issues. The application call will close on May 20th.

Requirement:

Be aged between 20-35
Be able to communicate in fluent English (reading, writing, speaking)
Be either a Master’s/PhD student, social entrepreneur, young professional, or person working at/with startup incubators and/or accelerators;
Show proven evidence of interests in Belt and Road Initiative and participation of the international youth community, and/or involvements in related fields;
Fill out the Participant Application form.

As a participant you are expected to:

After invitation pay a non-refundable administration fee of 150€. Only after payment is your participation guaranteed. See below for more information on participation options.
Take part in all components of the program and practice punctuality.
Follow Youth Time’s Code of Conduct (see below).

Fee:
The complete program is covered by Youth Time International Movement and partners, but please take into consideration that travel costs and visa come at your own expense. Hotel accommodation is fully sponsored by Youth Time International Movement and partners. Below you will find more details on the administration fees.

Subsidiary Basic Participation

Administration fee 150€ including: twin room shared accommodation in 4* or 5* hotel, attendance of opening and closing/award ceremonies, gala dinner, tea breaks and meals, cultural activities, educational program, participants kit.
Payment details will be provided to the selected participants in the official invitation.
Only after payment will your participation be guaranteed.

Non-subsidiary Participation

As an NGO we will be glad to receive any kind of sponsorship. If you wish to support Youth Time International Movement, you can choose the non-subsidiary option which covers 100% costs of participation. Administration fee is 1000€ which will include: accommodation in a single room in 4* or 5* hotel, attendance of opening and closing/awarding ceremonies, gala dinner, tea breaks and meals, cultural activities, educational program, participants kit.

Please note, that administration fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.
