Indonesian Youth Marine Debris Summit 2019, Indonesia (Fullu Funded)

The Indonesian Youth Marine Debris Summit (IYMDS) is a training and development program that brings together young people from across the archipelago who have creative ideas and ideas, to collaborate to solve marine waste problems. Each participant will depart to Jakarta to represent their respective provinces. The curriculum model provided aims to improve participants' understanding of environmental challenges caused by marine waste. The agenda consists of various workshops by experienced experts, field trips that will provide understanding and experience in the field for participants, as well as an action plan which is a real solution for participants in responding to marine waste issues.

The group with the best action plan has the opportunity to become Indonesia's representative in Our Ocean Conference - a prestigious international level conference that focuses on marine protected areas, climate change, sustainable fisheries, marine pollution, sustainable blue economy, and maritime security in Norway, October 2019 .

Benefit:
The costs of joining IYMDS 2019 are borne by the organizer including transportation costs from the place of origin to Jakarta to go home, accommodation and consumption while participating in this activity. In addition, the participants will also get funding to implement the activity plan they have compiled during the 2019 IYMDS. 
 
Requirement:
Registration is open to Indonesia's young generation who have a strong determination to provide positive change. Selected participants will be divided to design and implement an action plan. IYMDS is not just a program that lasts for five days, but more than that. Participants must have full commitment until the implementation of an action plan that will help participants maximize leadership potential, perspectives, and networking with other participants.
