Youth Culture Camp (Kemah Budaya Kaum Muda) 2020, Indonesia (Fully Funded)



Youth Culture Camp (hereinafter abbreviated as KBKM) 2020 is a cultural work platform that brings young people aged between 18 and 25 years to answer the challenges of advancing culture by utilizing a wealth of insight in the fields of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) .

The series of activities for the Youth Culture Camp (KBKM) 2020 intends to create an incubator space that encourages the birth of various applications and crafts that strengthen the efforts to promote culture in various regions based on creative interaction between young people as avant-garde in promoting culture using an approach integrated in the field of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The objectives of the KBKM activities are:
  • Increasing the use of various aspects of STEAM in the promotion of culture
  • Increasing the role of the younger generation in the promotion of culture
  • Increasing cooperation across ministries / institutions, central and regional governments, and the private sector in the promotion of culture
  • Looking for solutions to the Common Problems of Regional Cultural Thoughts
Benefit:
  • KBKM participants have the opportunity to win a total prize of Rp. 585,000,000 intended for the development of applications or craftsmanship that they initiated.
  • The committee bears the accommodation, consumption and allowance of participants during the activity. Each group that passes the selection borne its own transportation costs for the departure from the participant's origin location to the Regional KBKM location and the return from the Regional KBKM location to the participant's origin location.


Requirement:
  • Aged 18 to 25 years and formed a group of 3 people (for the craft category) and 5 people (for the application category); 
  • One group must have a combination of male and female 
  • One group is expected to reside in the same City / Regency to facilitate coordination; 
  • Creating prototypes and activating social initiatives to address problems from the Regency / City PPKD General Problems List (DMU) related to 10 Cultural Advancement Objects (OPK) with the STEAM perspective (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics);
  • Each group member must participate in the whole series of KBKM activities without representatives or substitute members; 
  • The cellphone number listed must have a Whatsapp feature
